When you grow up to be a footballer and aim to play for the biggest clubs in your life at one point of time, there is one club that surely stands out in that wish list, and such is the case with young defender Jordan Torunarigha.

The Hertha Berlin lad recently claimed that his dream is to one day step on to the pitch at Old Trafford, the home of the mighty Manchester United, as a player at least once in his career.

A product of the German club’s academy, the 19-year-old has broken into the first team this season, and has appeared 4 times in all competitions for the team until now.

While speaking to German newspaper Bild, the player answered questions about his dream club by stating: “Manchester United. It has always been my dream to play at Old Trafford. Maybe somehow with Hertha!”

The teenager is a versatile defender trying to emerge on to the stage of world football, and with his versatility allowing him to play as left-back and centre back, he is one impressing the eyes that are looking out for him slowly but surely.

Having joint nationality of Nigeria and Germany, the lad has represented the German side during his youth level days, and has also appeared twice for them as an under-20 international.

With his contract at Hertha running till June 2020, consistent top performances and a determined effort in every match is all that’s needed, and maybe one day his dream will come true, because what’s football if not achieving your ‘goal’?
