Kylian Mbappe’s heroics in Ligue 1 and the Champions League have drawn interest from the biggest of clubs across Europe. But, which are the clubs Mbappe has interest in? His uncle reveals all.
Monaco’s wonderkid has already scored the same number of Champions League goals as the global superstar Eden Hazard has in his entire career. It’s a scary feat to accomplish at an age of 18, isn’t it?
This season alone, Kylian Mbappe has scored 24 goals and assisted 5 across various competitions. Monaco’s wonderful campaign, wherein they are leading the Ligue 1 table and are already in the semifinals of Champions League, has been boosted massively by the contribution of the French sensation.
European heavyweights like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all showed interest in securing his signature, and it would be intriguing to see which club manages to land the coveted striker, if a move away from Monaco happens in the summer.
Pierre Mbappe, uncle of Kylian Mbappe, has raised a few eyebrows, however, by revealing that his nephew spends a lot of time watching Chelsea from the Premier League.
Speaking to Italian newspaper TuttoSport, he stated: ” Kylian does not need to watch Juventus before their Champions League meeting because he already knows Juve very well. He watched their games every week and he’s been doing it for very long time. He also watches Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Chelsea.”
Mbappe’s uncle later affirmed that the striker is loving life at Monaco, by adding: “Anything can happen in the future, but he’s very happy at Monaco. We’ll talk about a possible transfer at the right time.”
