Keylor Navas remains unflapped with the talks of David De Gea moving to Real Madrid, as the Costa Rican shot-stopper has expressed his desire to stay with Los Blancos for years to come.

There are good chances that De Gea will be playing at Real Madrid next season, but Navas is not agreeing to go down without a fight. The current No.1 goalkeeper for the La Liga outfit has affirmed his strong desire to stay for Los Blancos for many more years.

“I want to stay at Real Madrid for many years to come. I don’t care what people say, I just do my job. I notice the fans’ support, it makes me feel well-liked,” the Costa Rica international said, as quoted by DailyMail.

The goalkeeper got injured at the beginning of season, and had his pre-season cut short because of an achilles injury. He has struggled to find his best form ever-since.

“It hasn’t been an easy year for me. Having a reduced pre-season was a major burden for me but now I’m feeling great,” he added.

The 30-year-old, who has helped his team reach the final of Champions League, hasn’t been as impressive as he was last year. Yet, Zinedine Zidane has shown tremendous faith in Navas over the season, as he has featured between the sticks 37 times already so far.

It’s a well received notion that if De Gea arrives at Real Madrid in the summer, Navas would not be the no. 1 choice anymore.
