Inter Milan Accept Bid For Ivan Perisic
According to Calciomercato, the Italian club has accepted the latest improved offer for Perisic, as Manchester United look to wrap up the deal.
Jose Mourinho’s side is about to conclude the first signing of the summer transfer window with an agreement now in place for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic.
Manchester United had previously bid €30m for the Croatian winger, however, the bid was rejected. The new offer is believed to be around €52m, which has been given the green light by the Inter chiefs.
It is being reported that Manchester United came out aggressively with a second offer for the 28-year-old to put behind the disappointment of missing out on Antoine Griezmann. The Red Devils have also agreed to double Perisic’s salary, who was earning €3m-a-season at Inter.

If reports are to be believed, Ivan Perisic will be a Manchester United player within a week.
Interestingly, Luciano Spalletti, the incoming coach at Inter, had claimed that Persic will not be sold. However, the Italian club’s hierarchy has decided to sell their star player in order to comply by the Financial Fair Play restriction.
Jose Mourinho was quick to change his transfer targets in the wake of Griezmann’s cancelled transfer due to a transfer ban upon Atletico Madrid. Ivan Perisic now seems to be the first summer arrival for the Portuguese coach, with work in progress on other targets.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are very keen to bring a striker at Old Trafford. The long term injury of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has forced the hand of Mourinho, who is looking at Andrea Belotti, Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata as possible candidates to replace the injured Swede.
