Real Madrid To Launch Formal Bid For David De Gea Next Week
La Liga giants Real Madrid are said to be ready to start bidding for Manchester United star David De Gea by next week.
As per reports from Daily Mail, Real Madrid are yet to make a formal bid for De Gea, however, the player has been made aware that an offer will be forthcoming this summer.
It was claimed that the club manager Zinedine Zidane did not want to give too much importance to the issue, as his own goalkeeper, Keylor Navas, was busy preparing for Saturday’s Champions League final against Juventus.
Nonetheless, the process to bring in the Red Devils’ shot-stopper will commence now that the final is over, and Los Blancos would like to avoid a repeat of the blunder that happened in 2015.

Inspite of Madrid’s keen interest in the Spaniard, De Gea’s Manchester United contract runs till 2019, and the Reds also have an option to extend the deal by a further year, which puts them in a very strong position to resist any bid.
United are expected to demand in excess of £70 million for De Gea because of Manchester City’s £35 million purchase of Benfica goalkeeper Ederson, but they also remain confident that the Spanish international will stay at Old Trafford.
De Gea, who was frustrated because of his strained relations with Louis van Gaal, is said to be far more content under Mourinho because of improvement in the club’s performances on the European stage.
Nevertheless, if Real make an offer that forces United’s hand, the the 26-year-old will choose to return to his homeland after seven years in England.
