Spalletti’s Appointment Might Stop Perisic Exit
Manchester United may not be able to land Ivan Perisic, after all as reports today suggest that Inter Milan plan to keep him for another season.
The Red Devils have failed to create and finish chances in the recently concluded season, and Jose Mourinho is desperate for some attacking additions to his squad.
The likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Juan Mata, and Wayne Rooney may all quit the club this summer, which means that United will have to spend on more than one attacker to make sure that they have enough depth for the challenges next season.
They have been linked with some of the brightest stars in Europe, but one player who was reportedly close to a move to Old Trafford is Croatian midfielder Ivan Perisic.

At the back of a productive season in Italy, the versatile attacker is now one of the most exciting prospects in world football, and is reportedly valued at around €40m-€50m, a value United were ready to pay.
However, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, a reliable Italian journalist, Perisic is now no more up for sale.
The report suggests that Luciano Spalletti, who is now close to landing the Inter Milan job, is desperate to keep hold of the 28-year-old, and is set to reject bids from Manchester United.
The former Roma man is yet to take charge of the club, and this is just a rumour, but if United miss out on Perisic, they will have to quickly look for alternatives, as most of their Premier League rivals are already getting deals done for their top transfer targets.
Perisic is a decent option, but do you think he will be a huge loss for Manchester United?
