Januzaj And Johnstone Miss Out From Man United’s Pre-Season Squad
Manchester United have left out winger Adnan Januzaj and goalkeeper Sam Johnstone from their 27-man squad for their summer friendly tour of the United States. This, in turn, has put the duo’s future at the club in question for the upcoming season.
Januzaj spent last season on loan at Sunderland, where he failed to impress. The Premier League giants are now hoping to cash in on Januzaj, as they await bids for the Belgian. Johnstone, on the other hand, is the fourth choice keeper at United, and is likely to move to Aston Villa this summer.
Red Devils’ manager Jose Mourinho has included youngsters Scott McTominay and Demetri Mitchell, who both made their debuts last season.
