1. William Carvalho To West Ham United

What’s the story?

West Ham United have been eyeing William Carvalho for a while now, and in their efforts to step up the pursuit for their target, bids of high values have started to emerge. According to reports mentioned in Telegraph, the London club has tabled a personal record bid worth £27.1 million in order to secure the services of the midfielder.

Should the deal take place?

Despite already signing super names like Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez, and Pablo Zabaleta, Slaven Bilic seems in no mood to stop, as he aims to reshape his side for the new season. The Hammers currently have representatives present in Lisbon, as they try to convince Sporting to let their man go, with the Portuguese side demanding a minimum of £36.1m at the moment. Signing the Euro 2016 winner will be the perfect icing on the cake for the Premier League side, as all they wish for right now is a quality player in the middle of the park.

Possibility of it happening

The possibility of West Ham signing Carvalho is currently 8/10.

2. Gabriel Paulista To Valencia

What’s the story?

As Valencia aim to prepare for life without Ezequiel Garay, the Daily Star reports that Gabriel Paulista has emerged as a top priority target for the La Liga club. With the side’s number one centre-back leaving for Spartak Moscow, manager Marcelino has picked out Paulista as the ideal replacement for next season.

Should the deal take place?

The 26-year-old was not a regular starter under Arsene Wenger last season, and that might help Valencia with their chase. The defender from Brazil was a former Villarreal player, and played under the same boss who awaits him at Les Taronges. With the World Cup coming up next year, and previous experience of playing in Spain’s top flight, making a move might not be the worst idea in the world for the player.

Possibility of it happening

The chances of Gabriel joining Valencia are currently 7/10.

What’s the story?

Times are desperate for Mauricio Pochettino and his Spurs side, as the London outfit is yet to make a single summer signing during the ongoing transfer window. In such times, Sky Sports have reported that Tottenham are now targeting Davidson Sanchez as the first name to bring to the New Wembley Stadium this month. The 21-year-old centre-back was a rock solid performer for Ajax last season, and made a total of 43 appearances for the Dutch side.

Should the deal take place?

Despite being a defender, he managed to score 6 goals in the Eredivisie during last campaign. With Kyle Walker gone, Trippier injured, and Danny Rose linked with a move to Old Trafford, a full-back is the need of the hour at Tottenham. However, a young centre-back waiting to make it big, and packed with quality can also be the immediate answer to Pochettino’s worries.

Possibility of it happening

The chances of Sanchez coming to England are currently 5/10.

4. Nikola Kalinic To Everton

What’s the story?

Everton have had probably one of the busiest summers in the Premier League so far, and are desperate to finish it on a high, with the signing of a quality centre forward being the last target. If reports from The Sun are believed to be true, then Ronald Koeman is now chasing Nikola Kalinic from Fiorentina. The striker is priced at £22.5 million at the moment – a sum that Everton are willing to match.

Should the deal take place?

The Croatian has attracted a high number of clubs with his performances in the seasons gone by. After scoring 33 goals in 2 campaigns for the Serie A side, the eagerness from Koeman to bring him to Goodison Park is as justified a decision as any. The player is an all out goal-scoring lethal striker, and has previous experience of playing in England from his time with Blackburn Rovers. He might be the perfect man to partner Wayne Rooney in Merseyside, and lead the club towards a spot in the Champions League.

Possibility of it happening

Kalinic is currently waiting for offers from AC Milan, as he considers the San Siro to be his dream destination to play professional football. Thus, the deal might take some time to reach a conclusion, and the chances of him coming to Everton are 4/10.
