What Edinson Cavani Did After Full-Time Is A Very Concerning Issue For PSG
Paris Saint-Germain recorded a 2-0 win over Lyon in their home territory on Sunday night, as the two own goals from the away side ensured that PSG ran out winners in what was not a very convincing win for the French giants.
However, the game will not be remembered as much for the quality of it, as it will be for the on-field disagreement between the PSG players.
Notably, Neymar and Cavani had very evident verbal spats in two different set piece situations. As a result, Cavani felt that he was not treated properly by the world record signing ,and left the stadium much early than his team-mates. The Uruguayan striker was seen leaving the venue from the back door just 20 minutes after the match ended.

In a free-kick situation, Neymar’s Brazilian team-mate Dani Alves was seen talking the ball away from Cavani and giving it to the former Barcelona forward.
During another incident, Neymar wanted to take a penalty, but Cavani refused to give it up. The striker ended up missing the opportunity, as his effort was saved by the goalkeeper.
The fresh tensions at the club will give Unai Emery a headache, as he will have to accommodate two players who are not the best of friends right now. When asked about the penalty situation, Emery said: “I have told them to sort it out between themselves.”
To add to this saga, reports have also emerged, stating that Neymar has unfollowed his Edinson Cavani on Instagram following their recent clash.
