Sky Sports Journalist: PSG Could Persuade Mourinho To Leave England
Spanish journalist Guillem Balagué has claimed that Jose Mourinho might be tempted to leave England if he receives a chance to manage Paris Saint-Germain.
The Portuguese recently conceded that he is fond of the French capital, by describing Paris as ‘special’. Furthermore, in a recent interview with French TV, he proclaimed that he will not end his managerial career with the Red Devils, according to Sky Sports.
The 54-year-old tactician, who led the Old Trafford outfit to Europa League and League Cup titles last season, had formerly claimed that he would wish to coach the Portuguese national team at the final stages of his career.

But now, it seems Ligue 1 has started to strike his attention, with Paris Saint-Germain being the sole target.
Joining the Red Devils in 2016, the ex-Chelsea coach signed a three-year contract. Regarding some speculations about his possible contract extension at United, Balagué says Mourinho may be using PSG to influence the extension of his contract.

Meanwhile, he also believes that Jose might consider testing himself out in the French league.
When enquired about Mourinho’s actual message, the Spanish journalist said: “That he will end up at PSG. I think it was always part of his journey. He would go to a team that is superior in the French league but still has not shown – let’s see what happens this season – that they have the level to win the Champions League.
“We know Jose is capable of making that kind of jump if given the team. The squad is there to challenge for the next few years but those words also coincide with wanting a new contract so let’s wait and see.”
The former Los Blancos manager has never spent more than four years in one spell as manager at any of his seven clubs. Regardless, the Red Devils’ chief is keen on tying the Portuguese down with a five-year contract.
Moreover, United are presumed to have the financial reserves to blow off Mourinho’s interest in a move to Paris.
