Manchester United have purportedly reached a pre-agreement with Gareth Bale.

The once top-tier footballer, brought down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu due to consistent injuries, is now a target for Jose Mourinho.

Disregarding most speculation, the United gaffer is still pursuing the pacy winger in the hopes of fortifying his side’s flanks.

Accordingly, as per the latest reports, the ex-Madrid boss now holds an agreement with the former Tottenham star, and has convinced the Old Trafford outfit’s higher-ups to make a move for the Wales international.

But regardless, the Portuguese tactician is reluctant to offer more than that, primarily owing to the fact that the celebrated forward barely gets appearances because of his injuries. The superstar has played just 11 matches this campaign for the La Liga and Champions League holders.

However, Mourinho also believes that Bale could return to his prime form if he returns to England, and hence, the recent agreement. All that’s reportedly left is for the player to convince the Spanish giants to sell him to the Old Trafford outfit.

If the transfer were to materialise in January, the Mancunian giants could close the gap between the Citizens indubitably. But with the talent Bale possesses, it’s also possible that other clubs with massive financial resources could offer opposition to United.
