Bryan Cristante has put English clubs on high alert after revealing strong intentions to make a switch to the Premier League.

The Atalanta star has managed to register 8 goals in a relatively meagre 21 appearances for his side this season following his loan move from Benfica.

Further, Atalanta also have the option to either cash in on the young prospect due to his rising popularity among elite clubs, or sign him permanently for a bargain value of €4 million.

“So many people tell me: ‘The Premier League is the perfect place for you,’ and I agree with them. It’s physical, there’s a lot of tackling and open football. I can really see myself there,” the Italian admitted.

Man Utd have been one of the sides who have registered the most interest in the youngster, and may want to seize the opportunity.

However, the Red Devils are not the only contending party for the Benfica loanee’s services, as the player revealed interest from Chelsea as well.

“I was told at the end of a youth tournament that there were some Chelsea scouts there to watch me,” he added. “The Premier League was a dream then and it’s still a dream now, just as I hope it will be a reality in future, although I don’t know when.

“Everything has its right moment. It’s one thing being attracted to a spell abroad when you are 19 years old, such as when I went to Benfica and realised I had to start all over again, but it’s another when you are no longer a kid and have already made your mark.”
