Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants to move back to the Premier League after growing frustrated with the Galacticos’ run of form both on and off the pitch.

The shocking part, however, is the fact that the 32-year-old wants to join Chelsea instead of Man Utd.

Ronaldo was heavily linked with a potential return to Old Trafford this summer, after he was accused of tax evasion by the Spanish authorities last year.

The Portuguese had asked to leave Los Blancos at the time, but no deal was settled, and the five-time Ballon d’Or winner ultimately decided to stay put at the Bernabeu.

However, with Madrid’s recent dip in form, and more importantly, their inability to bring in world-class players has left Ronaldo questioning his future with the club.

And as per the recent report by Spanish outlet Don Balon, the former Man Utd forward wants to leave the defending La Liga champions, and make a move to the reigning Premier League champions.

It was reported that the Portugal international understands that his former club are not looking forward to his return anymore, and thus, has decided to make a switch to the Blues.

Also, he had a falling out with current United manager and former Real boss, Jose Mourinho, towards the end of the Special One’s tenure in the Spanish capital.

Furthermore, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is also unsettled, with multiple reports linking him to Madrid, and if the Belgian star does in fact trade Chelsea for Real, Antonio Conte wouldn’t think twice before snapping Ronaldo up.

The current World Player of the Year has had a very disappointing 2017-18 season, with just four goals and two assists to his name in Spain’s top flight. Ronaldo has scored a total of 16 goals in 23 appearances for Los Blancos so far this season.
