Manchester United are preparing for life without Antonio Valencia, and Hector Bellerin seems to be the man for the job.

However, Juventus are also very keen on signing the Arsenal star, and remain favourites to land a deal.

The Spaniard broke into the Gunners’ first-team during the 2014/15 season, when Mathieu Debuchy conceded a long-term injury, which led Arsene Wenger’s desperation to turn to the youth side.

Since then, Bellerin has become a regular starter at the club, and has even secured a place in the PFA team of the year once during that period.

However, due to recent inconsistent performances, the full-back has fallen out of favour with the fans, and it didn’t take long for him to be linked with a move away from the Emirates.

One such story included interest from the likes of the Old Lady. But as per Mirror, the Red Devils are very much interested in importing the still-young defender over to Manchester, and have made enquiries about his availability.

Further, United will also be keeping tabs on any developments regarding the player.

Nevertheless, the Italian giants are unlikely to back down, as they’re set to lose Stephan Lichtsteiner at the end of the season, and will be left with no natural right-back.

The 23-year-old is contracted with the Gunners till the year 2023, which almost makes it certain that his price tag will be nowhere near conventional standards.
