Old Trafford will be eager to see action again, as the international break finally comes to an end. Swansea City will be tough visitors, as proven in their recent run at Old Trafford, wherein all three points have been taken by the Red Devils only twice in the last five occasions.

It will be crucial for Jose Mourinho’s men to do the same again before Easter should they secure their second-place finish, what with Liverpool and Tottenham lurking too close for comfort going into the final run of games for the season.

Let us have a look as to how the two sides will lineup going into the fixture.

Manchester United

Injuries will be a fresh concern yet again after the international break. The old woes of Daley Blind still stand, while the likes of Ander Herrera, Phil Jones, and Marcos Rojo, while having recovered, are still on the fence in terms of immediate first-team football.

Joining them will be youngster Scott McTominay who, having enjoyed a splendid run of games, will miss out against the Welsh-based team after having picked an injury during the break. Romero is another unexpected addition to the list.

Mourinho also provided an update on Young’s fitness, stating: “Ashley Young had a problem in the last part of the game against Italy but we think there is a chance for him to recover.”

This means that Pogba ought to retain his usual spot, and Martial’s return from injury might grant him playing-time as well.
