European Giants Told To Pay Extra €80m For Midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
Just how much is too much in the present day transfer window? It appears that the demand and supply chain is going off the wire, as clubs are becoming more and more liberal in quoting price tags for heavily required targets.
One name that perfectly fits this criterion going into the summer window is that of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who at last count, was attracting interests from the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester City, and Manchester United.
That list might as well have added a couple more names, and we’d have a European masterclass at hand.
At the moment, however, the issue of contention is the price that Lazio will accept in order to give him away, and the latest update might indicate that clubs have a momentous choice to make.

As per Sports Witness, Lazio has received bids only in the region of €70 million or so for the prolific 23-year-old.

This will apparently not cut it, and the Italian giants are believed to up their demands to a more staggering €150 million, and have reportedly informed the same to all interested parties.
Obvious spenders on the list are PSG and Manchester United, who are no strangers to breaking records when it comes to acquiring desired targets. City are also on a similar ground, but Real Madrid were the ones who first started the phenomenon of getting big money targets.

However, it seems less likely in this case that the Galacticos will be making the increase, and the same may be said for the other parties as well, on grounds of financial backing.
This leaves Manchester United, and Ed Woodward, in particular, to make the call on whether or not the central midfielder is worth the splash. Will headlines be made even before the window opens?
