Nemanja Matic Savagely Shuts Down A Chelsea Fan Who Tried To Troll Him

Manchester United may not be in the best of spaces at the moment, but their players seem to be ‘united’ more than ever, at least on paper.
Goalkeeper David De Gea recently posted a picture of the squad locked arm-in-arm with the message that the team was stronger than ever, amid the disastrous start to the new Premier League season.
Two defeats from three matches just isn’t the Manchester United way, and many fans are calling for drastic measures to be undertaken.
While the media remains largely focused on the saga surrounding executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and manager Jose Mourinho, the players at United seem to be involving themselves in other battles.

Just take Nemanja Matic for example. The Serbian has been busy on social media, answering trolls in the most savage way possible. Matic replied to a fan’s picture of him in a Chelsea jersey kissing the Premier League trophy with the caption “When you know it’s your last one.”
Matic clearly isn’t one to back down, and replied with an epic comment of his own: “Who you draw in CL (Champions League)?”

But there certainly exist problems that need addressing at the Mancunian club. Their defensive work has been truly abysmal, which points to Mourinho’s insistence on having at least two new center-backs in his team for the new season.
This was of course denied by Ed Woodward, and we seem to be witnessing the consequences of that missed opportunity.
Matic himself has been accused of being nowhere near the player he was at Chelsea when the Blues won the Premier League trophy, and despite returning from injury, he hasn’t been as influential as we might have expected him to be.
Nonetheless, the midfielder is expected to play against Burnley on Sunday, as Manchester United look to turn their fortunes around.
