Neymar believes Manchester City are likely to retain the Premier League crown at the end of this season.

The Brazilian forward is known to be a huge fan of poker. Last week, the 26-year-old flew down to Barcelona and met his former teammates at the club training ground, before attending a PokerStars European Poker Tour event along with Gerard Pique.

In an interview with Express, Neymar claimed that Pep Guardiola is once again the likely candidate to lift the Premier League title this season.

On further questioning, the forward suggested that Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham could complete the Top 4 in the English top tier this season.

“It’s very hard, it’s very difficult, but Manchester City will win it,” said the PSG talisman. “Second will be United, third is Chelsea. Fourth is Tottenham.”

Pique was shocked that Neymar left out Liverpool, who sit atop the Premier League table at the moment. But Neymar confirmed: “No Liverpool.”

Earlier this summer, Neymar enticed the Manchester City fans when he expressed a desire to work with Guardiola. But the Brazil international is unlikely to make the switch to Manchester, and is more inclined to a move to Chelsea or Arsenal.

A source close to Neymar revealed this to Express Sport, by claiming: “He loves England – but mainly London. He has been there three or four times in the last 12 months.

“He says there is always something about London. The last time he kept ringing me up and begging me to join him because he loved it so much. He kept saying ‘this place is amazing, this place is amazing’. He just loves London.”
