Whispers Are On That Jose Mourinho Could Get Sacked Soon

There has been an intense gloom around Manchester United, and things aren’t going well for manager Jose Mourinho and his players.

The 2018-19 season hasn’t been the start United had desired. They are off the pace in the Premier League, lying in the 10th place in the table. Not just that, the performances have been below par, and they have already faced three defeats and a draw in 7 games.

Jose also saw his side bow out of the Carabao Cup in the 3rd round itself. With the league defeat against West Ham over the weekend, reports claim that some of United’s staff believe that Mourinho could lose his job as early as this week.

It is believed that the Portuguese didn’t travel with the team back home, and many of them discussed on the way regarding the fate of the manager.

The pressure on Jose is immense at the moment, and many fear it could be his third-season syndrome.

Back in 2015, he lost his dressing room at Chelsea, leaving the Blues in a dismal situation. Now, United too could follow on the same line. Jose has been at loggerheads with Paul Pogba, and that has affected the dressing room as well.

According to ​Mirror, it has now been claimed that the France international has told his United teammates that he will not back down, and is ready for the fight against Jose.

It has been quite telling that Pogba, who won the World Cup in summer of 2018, looked poised to have a solid season with his club, but Jose hasn’t managed him well, and the performances have subsequently suffered.

Manchester United need to change their luck sooner than later, and the only plausible solution appears to be a change at the helm.
