Manchester United Owners Reveal Their Stance On Jose Mourinho
The Glazer family believes Jose Mourinho can still fire Manchester United to a top-four finish.
Manchester United fans were disappointed once again on Tuesday night, as Valencia were able to pick up a point at Old Trafford in the UCL group stage encounter. Jose Mourinho’s men are yet to win a home game since their opening day victory over Leicester City.
The draw against Valencia is just a tip of the iceberg, as the Red Devils are now winless in 4 fixtures, one of which saw them get knocked out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Derby County.
Reports suggest that things aren’t fine in the dressing room either, and some senior players have asked Mourinho to be sacked immediately. The Portuguese boss has been unable to handle his players since the start of this season.

His fight with Paul Pogba seems to be affecting the entire squad’s morale, and their recent bust-up on the training ground suggests there are much bigger problems to solve before the situation changes on the pitch.
However, as per sources at ESPN, Manchester United‘s owners, the Glazer family, are backing Mourinho to turn things around. The US-based entrepreneurs are in constant contact with club executive Ed Woodward, and are determined to give the manager until the end of this season to sort the issues at the club.

The Glazers decided to sack David Moyes just 9 months after appointing him to fill in the boots of Sir Alex Ferguson. The players had lost faith in the former Everton boss, but the owners decided to stick with him until it became impossible to achieve Champions League football.
Similarly, Mourinho could also be shown the door if he fails to win the Champions League or secure a spot in the Premier League top 4 this season.
Manchester United have a couple of options if they do decide to sack the ex-Chelsea boss before the turn of this year. Zinedine Zidane is said to be a favourite at the moment, while former Red, Laurent Blanc, could also be considered for the job.
