Pereira Reveals The Real Reason Behind Pogba And Mourinho’s Training Ground Bust-Up

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has provided new details about the training ground bust-up that occurred between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba after the Derby County defeat.
The Red Devils are a sinking ship at the moment, as they sit 8th in the Premier League, and have been already knocked out of the League Cup. Their real test in the Champions League awaits, as they face Juventus in their next two fixtures.
Jose Mourinho has supposedly lost his mojo in the dressing room. Several reports suggest that a group of top players prefers the manager to be gone as soon as possible, with Paul Pogba said to be leading the revolution at Old Trafford.
Earlier this season, an Instagram post from the 25-year-old sparked up a training ground bust-up. Pogba and Mourinho were filmed having a heated exchange at Carrington, over a video which showed him and Andreas Pereira laughing during the Carabao tie against Derby County.
In a recent interview with UOL, Pereira has finally revealed that the video was indeed taken when the Red Devils were leading the match 1-0, and Pogba posted it immediately.
The Brazilian confirmed that a misunderstanding by the Manchester United gaffer was the cause behind the training ground scenes that were captured by the media.

“It was in a cup game. Pogba posted the video before, and there was me and left-back Luke Shaw laughing,” Pereira revealed. “We were winning the game 1-0 at the time of the video. Then we lost the game, and people said that Pogba posted later. But he posted before.
“The manager thought that Pogba had posted later. He asked him why did that happen. There was a mood about it. These things were out here in England. But it’s like, I have nothing to do with it.
“Mourinho gave me a chance, he said to me, ‘I want you to stay here’. It would be a shot on my own foot to badmouth the guy who gave me the first opportunity to play and is still giving it.”
