Manchester United Set To Announce Shock Signing By Next Week
The closing of the transfer window in the summer meant that Manchester United were left disappointed with the business they had done.
With a lack of star signings and the manager being extremely vocal about the same, the Red Devils have had a woeful season since then, and will be desperate to turn things around.
However, the club is now ready to announce a signing at last, and rumours have suggested it to be a young talent named Paul Woolston.
The player is currently a free agent, and hence, the restrictions of the transfer market are not fully applied in his case.

The former Newcastle goalkeeper has been a target for the United coaches since over a month, and he seems to have agreed a deal with them till the end of the season.
The 6-foot-tall shot-stopper was released by the side because of his massive frame, but his ball distribution and abilities have certainly impressed others in the sport.

Manchester Evening News also mentioned that in September, Woolson was taken on trial at Old Trafford, and this was done with the primary aim of giving competition to Under-23 players Matej Kovar and fellow 18-year-old custodian Alex Fojticek.
David de Gea might soon be heading out the exit door, leaving behind shoes that would be too big to fill.
While immediate worries surround the team and an unstable next few months lie ahead, the signing of such talents and establishing a good foundation for the long-term future is always a good sign.
