How Jose Mourinho Used Jordan Henderson To Escape FA Charge And Ban

There is positive news coming in from the Football Association if you’re a Manchester United fan, because club manager Jose Mourinho has been cleared by the FA in a charge relating to usage of foul language after the 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at Old Trafford a few weeks ago.
Manchester United argued their side of the story in front of an independent commission that was hearing the matter, and reportedly used the precedent of Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson’s foul language in order to avoid a touchline ban.
The Times are reporting that the Red Devils got their ‘get out of jail’ card in the form of Henderson, by citing his incident against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.
The England international had allegedly shouted expletives at Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic during the match, but following the game, there was no action taken against the player for his foul language.

The microphones clearly picked up what was said by Henderson at the time, and despite the evidence, no charges were applicable on the midfielder.
Citing this, United argued that Mourinho shouldn’t face strict punishment either in the interest of equality, and the same was accepted by the commission.

The 55-year-old had verbally laid into his critics in his native Portuguese language after the comeback win over Newcastle, and was almost instantly under review by the FA. However, he has now been cleared of any wrongdoing, despite it being abundantly obvious what he said after the fateful game.
Mourinho said, “fodas filhos de puta” in Portuguese, which basically translates to “f*** off sons of b******”, and was allegedly targeting former United players Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes, who have been openly critical on BT Sport about the former Chelsea manager’s reign at Old Trafford.
It was also a way to hit out at the media, who haven’t let up in reporting any news regarding a possible replacement of the boss at the Mancunian outfit.
