Juventus Interested In Romelu Lukaku To Replace Their Veteran Striker
Romelu Lukaku was Manchester United’s biggest signing in the summer of 2017. The former Everton player had come in with a lot of expectations, and he performed strongly in his debut campaign.
A trusted Jose Mourinho ally, Lukaku hasn’t lived up to the billing in the ongoing 2018-19 season, having managed just 6 goals in the Premier League.
With Jose sacked as manager last week, it will be a crucial period for the Belgian to get back running. United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has work to do in getting big Rom performing.
Also, whoever comes in as the new manager in 2019 summer, will need to work to keep Rom at the club. This comes after reports stating that he is being eyed by Italian champions Juventus.
