Solskjaer To Take A Shocking Alexis Sanchez Decision For The Liverpool Game
Alexis Sanchez has continued to endure a torrid time at Manchester United, and following his recent performances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the player’s future at the club appears to be under immense doubt.
The 29-year-old remains down the pecking order for the wide positions, having started the previous three games on the substitutes’ bench.
Now, according to The Sun, the Chilean international may be left warming the bench for the Red Devils’ upcoming Premier League clash against Liverpool as well.
As per the report, Solskjaer would prefer rushing the likes of Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard back to the starting lineup against the Merseysiders, than deploy Alexis.

Both Martial and Lingard picked up different injuries (groin and hamstring respectively) around the half-time break during Manchester United‘s Champions League clash against PSG, and the duo has remained on the sidelines since.
However, Solskjaer did admit that they could make their returns against Liverpool, as he stated: “I hope and think Anthony will be ready and I hope Jesse will be ready because it’s two different injuries.

“So maybe more hope than think, with Anthony as well, but he’s got a chance. Anyway we still hope Jesse could be ready. Let’s see. We’ve still got a couple of days’ training and they need to be part of it.”
If the 45-year-old does end up relying on the youngsters – who quite possibly may not be completely fit – over the experienced Sanchez, that would be a very big indication with regards to the former Arsenal man’s future at Old Trafford.
