Manchester United will travel to Goodison Park for the 100th time, as they take on Everton in the first of three vital games for the Red Devils in order for them to qualify for the Champions League next season.

The Toffees are poised in the 10th place, and will be looking to fight their way into a top-7 finish by the end of the season, and this game is right about the perfect time to start.

Let us have a look at how the two teams will lineup for the game:

Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, fresh from a Barcelona battering, will be without Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia for the game. Ander Herrera has recovered from his injury, and is back in training, but is unlikely to be fit for the outing.

Luke Shaw will be sidelined through suspension, but Nemanja Matic is a player that seems likely to play a part. This may be one of the last chances for Alexis Sanchez to prove his worth, probably as an impact substitute.

At the same time, it is paramount for David De Gea and Paul Pogba to silence their critics and put in a remarkable performance.

Goalkeeper: De Gea
Defenders: Dalot, Smalling, Lindelof, Young
Midfielders: Fred, Matic, Pogba
Forwards: Mata; Lukaku, Rashford

Formation: 4-3-1-2

Everton

Marco Silva’s side suffered an unexpected loss to Fulham on Saturday, a week after they caused a major upset to Arsenal. Against Manchester United, will they feature prominently in the top-four race yet again?

Their matchday squad will be bereft of Morgan Schneiderlin and Yerry Mina.

The continued performances of Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson will be crucial to their success at the Park, with the duo sharing 24 goals between them. Judging by United’s recent form slump, they may not have to try too hard.

Goalkeeper: Pickford
Defenders: Coleman, Keane, Zouma, Digne
Midfielders: Gueye, Davies
Forwards: Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard; Calvert-Lewin

Formation: 4-2-3-1
