Reason Why The Glazers Will Not Sell Anthony Martial
Manchester United co-chairman Joel Glazer and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have gotten into a disagreement regarding Anthony Martial.
The France international committed his long-term future to the Old Trafford club back in January, when he signed a new deal worth £200,000-a-week, which will last until January 2023.
However, his performances have deteriorated in quality ever since, as he has managed to score just twice in 13 appearances.
Further, Solskjaer has also begun questioning the 23-year-old’s attitude and commitment of late, with the player looking largely disinterested in training as well as during matches.

These issues have led the Norwegian gaffer to consider selling the Frenchman this summer, but his decision has been entirely overruled by the club’s co-chairman, Joel Glazer.
According to Mirror, the Glazers consider Martial to be the “Pele” of Manchester United, and therefore, the young forward is simply untouchable as far as player departures are concerned.
This isn’t the first time the club’s owners have intervened with business concerning Martial. Back in the summer of 2018, the Glazers had also prevented former manager Jose Mourinho from swapping the starlet with Inter wide-man Ivan Perisic.
Meanwhile, a majority of the club’s fan-base continues to acknowledge the talent possessed by the former Monaco man. However, his inconsistency and poor attitude is slowly starting to become a genuine issue for supporters as well as the management.
