Real Madrid Offer James Rodriguez Plus £27.6m For Paul Pogba
Even as Manchester United’s transfer reports keep piling up, a conservative estimate of the club’s summer dealings would likely point to the reality that at the best one or two more signings may be made before deadline day, if at all.
After securing Harry Maguire from Leicester City, the Red Devils have arguably completed their basic transfer objectives for the window.
It is with regard to the potential exits that United will have to worry about the most hereon.
Romelu Lukaku to Juventus seems all but complete. However, it is increasingly likely that Paulo Dybala won’t be a part of the deal.

Now, Sky Sports reports that Manchester United have outright rejected the latest bid from Real Madrid to sign Paul Pogba. Los Blancos reportedly offered a cash (£27.6m) plus player deal for the Frenchman with James Rodriguez the player on offer.
The Red Devils were understood to consider the offer well below their valuation for the World Cup winner. In fact, the same report adds that Madrid aren’t in any way capable of financing the massive pricetag that the Mancunian giants are asking for the prolific attacking midfielder.
As of such, it seems increasingly likely that Pogba will remain a Manchester United player after deadline day.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will certainly be pleased by this as he is eager to build the team around the 25-year-old. Now, the Norwegian gaffer certainly has all the requisite tools in his arsenal to make a compelling attempt in the season to come.
It will certainly be an interesting affair considering how hard the Frenchman was understood to be pushing for a move away. Then again, a player managed by Mino Raiola seems destined to depart and next window is bound to have this link all over again.
Is United’s transfer business done for the summer?
