Here’s how they fared during the game:

David De Gea – 7.5
The Spaniard made some great saves today and needs to put up more of the same.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7.0
United fans will be thankful that the wingback was fit enough to start. Played a pivotal role in their win.

Victor Lindelof – 7.3
Another solid game from the Swede. His touches and passes were impeccable.

Harry Maguire – 7.4
Massive impact from the Englishman. He will be happy to have achieved his clean sheet target.

Ashley Young – 7.0
Another decent showing from the veteran. Was offensively capable.

Scott McTominay – 7.5
Absolutely brilliant in the midfield. The maestro that Solskjaer can rely on.

Nemanja Matic – 6.7
Had spurts of brilliance but couldn’t keep up a consistent performance during his outing.

Andreas Pereira – 6.4
Not the offensive presence that Solskjaer would have hoped for. Was impressive in his passing though.

Juan Mata – 6.5
Appeared to step up to the task like the Norwegian wanted to but was poor in his passing. Could have been more impactful as a substitute.

Not the usual bouts of energy and shot-taking prowess that has been associated with him of late. Will the form continue?

Was clinical in the few minutes he spent on the pitch. More of the same?

85% pass percentage. Slowly working his way to the first team?
