Manchester United have been in some of their best form in quite a while. The winter transfer window haul bringing in only Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo did initially raise some eyebrows. However, the sheer brilliance with which Fernandes has swiftly made his mark at the Old Trafford outfit is quite evident.
In terms of numbers, the Portuguese midfielder has now backed three back-to-back Man of the Match honors in the Premier League with his penalty goal and 2 assists adding to an impeccable start to life with the Red Devils.
In fact, that assist tally could have gone one higher during the recent 3-0 win over Watford when a deft through-ball was made to Anthony Martial. However, Ben Foster came in the middle of that encounter, forcing the Frenchman to go to the edge, but eventually leading him to make a chipped dink that has left fans flabbergasted.
In the end, the glory of the goal was all his own, but Martial’s Instagram post did poke fun at the newest addition to the United squad.

Fernandes is clearly not one to be away from banter, replying in a comment: “Really?” alongside a laughing emoji as well.
This isn’t the first piece of banter that the two Red Devils have exchanged, with a similar social media sight taking place a few days ago too.
