Man Utd have certainly made some ace investments in the past transfer windows, although the argument can always be made that more money ought to have been spent and that Bruno Fernandes’ transfer, for instance, would have been far more impactful had it been secured in the summer itself.

However, the deals for Harry Maguire, Daniel James, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka that the Red Devils did make at the start of the campaign have since flourished quite well, integrating into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s roster.

In fact, Wan-Bissaka, in particular, has garnered somewhat of a reputation for being a formidable opponent to face. However, the Englishman himself has an intriguing roadblock to face.

Writing in his official diary entry (via the club’s website) Wan-Bissaka responded to a fan’s query about who his hardest opponent in training was by stating: “I’d say Marcus [Rashford), yeah. He’s just so unpredictable. When I first joined United and came up against him in training, he was doing things that I just really didn’t expect.”

The right back goes on to add: “I thought he’d go a certain way and he’d go the other way, or I thought he was about to do one thing and he did another, so he’s really tricky to play against. I enjoy that though; it’s been really good for my own development to test myself against him and the other attackers we have at the club.”

There’s no doubt that training with and against a player of Rashford’s caliber has a massive role to play on how well of a job the former Crystal Palace man does in taking on some of the more intimidating forwards in football.

As of recent, the player was also showing much promise in offensive duties and surely he can only get better at Old Trafford.
