Warren Joyce’s Manchester United U21s thrashed Norwich City U21s 7-0 at Old Trafford, courtesy of a hugely impressive five-goal haul from striker Will Keane.

Manchester United’s senior side is struggling for goals at the moment, having scored only seven goals in their last three games, but in the Under-21 side, Will Keane is showing what the senior squad is missing and why Van Gaal did the right thing in recalling Will Keane from his loan spell at Preston North End last month.

The 23-year-old academy graduate who has played just one Premier League game for the club, has been in fine form since being recalled from the loan spell this season.

With five goals in this 7-0 win, the forward has now scored ten goals in six games.

Under-fire winger Memphis Depay also bagged three assists.
