Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo walked out of a Champions League press conference in Rome on Tuesday after responding angrily to a question about his recent lack of away goals.

The three-time Ballon d’Or winner, who broke the competition’s record for the most goals scored in the group stage earlier this season, did not react well after being asked why he has failed to score away from home since November 29.

“Who else has scored more goals away from home than me since I arrived in Spain?” Ronaldo asked. “Name one player who has scored more than me?

“No answer? Okay. Thank you everyone,” he added, before excusing himself from the news conference.

The Portugal forward is currently Champions League’s all-time top scorer with 88 goals in 121 appearances.
