Manchester United Considering a Potential Move For Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Manchester United are considering a summer move for Arsenal speedster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to the Daily Mail.

Chamberlain moved to Arsenal in 2011, but his career at the Emirates has been continuously hindered with injuries. However, the 22-year-old does have immense potential, with a blend of speed and versatility that helps him play as a winger as well as a central midfielder.

The young Englishman has been linked with the likes of West Ham, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, with Manchester United being the latest addition to this list of suitors.

Manchester United have faced a shortage of attacking options this season with the sale of Robin van Persie, Javier Hernandez, Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao last summer, and the Red Devils could hugely benefit with the addition of Oxlade-Chamberlain to their squad.

And with manager Louis van Gaal’s policy of developing the youth, and his public statement regarding his search for pacey and fast attackers, Manchester United could very well prove to be the perfect destination for the English youngster.
