Chelsea Ready To Offer Ibrahimović £10 Million Per Season In Wages
English Giants Chelsea FC are ready to offer Zlatan Ibrahimović £10 million per season in wages, according to French website Foot Mercato.
Ibrahimović is set to part ways with Paris Saint-Germain this June, having spent 4 seasons at the Paris based club, and winning 4 successive Ligue 1 titles in the process.
When asked about his future, the Swede confirmed: “For the moment, I won’t be at PSG next season. I still have a month and a half of competition left. What happens next year, for the moment, I don’t know about it.”
His statements about leaving PSG at the end of this season have resulted in an enormous interest from clubs all over Europe, and even from the MLS and the Chinese Super League.
However, Zlatan seems determined to stay in Europe, and may soon be heading to the Premier League to play for English Giants Chelsea FC, after receiving a bumper offer from the Blues that will see him earn £10 million per season in wages!
Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Manchester United have also shown interest in signing the striker, according to L’Equipe, but Chelsea’s offer may prove too good to turn down, unless the Red Devils decide to match it using their own gigantic financial resources.
Zlatan has scored 27 league goals this season – showing that he still has what it takes to compete at the top level, but only time will tell where the 34-year-old ends up next season.
