English Giants Handed Boost In Their Pursuit Of Promising Goalkeeper

English Giants Manchester United and Liverpool have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin.

Perin broke into Genoa’s first team at the age of 20, and has since been the club’s first choice goalkeeper, whilst also getting called up for the Italian national team.

His impressive displays between the sticks have attracted interest from several European clubs – two of them being Premier League Giants Manchester United and Liverpool. Amidst this interest, the player’s agent Matteo Roggi has added fuel to the fire by confirming that Perin is ready to switch to a higher level of football, as reported by the Express.

According to the Express’s report, Matteo Roggi talked to the Italian station Radio CRC about his promising client.

The agent stated: “I hope that Perin can play for a big club. He’s had 120 appearances in Serie A and is the youngest goalkeeper to have had so much experience. However, if Genoa sell him they won’t give him away. He will only leave for a big offer.”
