Real Madrid Set To Offload Raphaël Varane
Real Madrid are monitoring a number of center-backs so as to replace Raphaël Varane, according to French outlet BuzzSport.
Back in June 2011, Varane was signed for Real Madrid for a fee of around €10 million by Jose Mourinho, who is believed to be a big admirer of the young center-back.
However, following Jose’s departure from Spain, the Frenchman has failed to establish himself in Real’s starting line-up, due to the presence of Pepe and Ramos ahead of him in the pecking order.

And according to latest reports from France, Real Madrid already look set to part ways with Varane, as they’re believed to be looking for an experienced and established center-back instead of a young and potent 22-year-old.
There is no shortage of suitors for the youngster who is widely regarded as one of the top young centre-backs in Europe, however, with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea showing genuine interest for his signature.
But, as per Le10Sport, United may already have the upper hand in this race due to Varane being reportedly interested in the challenge of moving to the Theatre of Dreams, and a potential reunion with the ‘Special One’ on the cards.
