And at the start of this month, Goal asked the 22-year-old if he still dreams of playing for the aforementioned European Giants, to which he replied: “It’s true. I have a big affection for both clubs, but as I said, I’m calmer now, more focused and of course, I have the dream of playing in Italy, if not for Juventus, for any other team, like Inter and Lazio.

“And I also dream of playing in England, where they have a very nice and competitive football. In my opinion, the Premier League is the best league of the world, so I’d like very much to play there or in Italy.”

Alisson is being rated very highly in Brazil, with his impressive performances earning him an international call-up for Brazil’s U21 team.

However, only time will tell whether or not the youngster is up to the standards of playing for the top European clubs.
