Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to steal Manchester United target Jose Mourinho, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Just when everyone thought Jose Mourinho to Manchester United is all but done, new reports following PSG’s Champions League elimination have emerged, suggesting that PSG management are considering replacing Laurent Blanc with Jose Mourinho, despite giving the former France coach a new two-year contract in February.

Club’s Qatari owners are reportedly losing patience after the club’s exit at the Champions League quarter-finals stage for the fourth successive season, and are willing to make move for two-time Champions league winner Jose Mourinho, who has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea back in December.

And according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the Red Devils have already stepped up their efforts to secure Van Gaal’s replacement and are ready to turn to assistant manager Ryan Giggs to take charge at the United helm.

The 42-year-old Welshman managed the club for four games at the end of 2013/14 season, after David Moyes was sacked just 10 months into the job.
