Ibrahimovic Wants Mourinho To Sign Him For Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants Jose Mourinho to take him to Manchester United along with him, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport.

Ibrahimovic’s contract with Paris-Saint Germain is set to end this season, and the Swedish forward will be one of the hottest free agents available in the upcoming 2016 summer transfer window.

The 34-year-old striker is being linked with numerous big clubs from around the world, but it seems that he has already decided where he wants to play next season.

As per Corriere dello Sport, Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to reunite with Jose Mourinho – a man expected by many to replace Van Gaal as United’s boss at the end of this season.

In fact, they have claimed that Ibrahimovic telephoned the ‘Special One’ personally, with the intention of joining him in Manchester.

Zlatan is said to have told Jose: “Mister, if you got to the Red Devils, take me with you. I’ll be on a free, but if you make it up in wages, I will win you the Premier League straight away.”

The Swede is said to have made this phone call because he not only wants to add a Premier League medal to his long list of achievements from all across Europe, but also wants to stop Pep Guardiola – a man he has a heated history with from their time together at Barcelona – from winning the league in his first year as Manchester City manager.
