Tottenham Star Says He’d Rather Retire Than Play For Arsenal
Tottenham’s star man Dele Alli has stated that he’d rather hang up his boots than join Arsenal, according to Copa90.
The newly turned 20-year-old joined Tottenham from MK Dons in a £5 million deal last year, and has since been an important part of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The Englishman has scored 8 goals and provided 9 assists in 31 Premier League games this season, and his high-level performances have earned him a nomination for the PFA Young Player of the Year Award.
Such top-drawer performances have seen the midfielder get linked with numerous European giants.
Amid such links, Alli was specifically asked by Copa90 to choose between a move to Spurs’ arch-rivals Arsenal, or retirement, to which he immediately responded: “I’m hanging my boots up!”
An answer of this manner is certain to make the Spurs fans fall in love all over again with the already-favourite young magician.
