Sky Germany: Mats Hummels admits he is losing sleep thinking about his Borussia Dortmund future.

The World-cup winner is expected to be in demand by the top European clubs over the summer. Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal are the reported suitors of the Borussia Dortmund ace.

“It’s a very difficult decision, and when I finally make it people will understand how hard it is for me,” Hummels told Sky Germany.

“I’ve set a date, but I’m keeping it to myself.

“It’s been taking me at least half an hour extra to fall asleep for several weeks now because this is such a big issue for me.”

The Dortmund captain has some tough decisions to make over his next move. His father and agent, Hermann Hummels, says Hummels would consider a move to Bayern Munich.

“Mats has to make an extremely important decision in his career,” he told Sport Bild.

“Dortmund is back among the top clubs in Europe, so the decision isn’t easy for him.

“But if he should leave Dortmund, then he will move to one of the five or six best clubs and FC Bayern is one of them.”

The 27-year-old centre-back, who initially joined Dortmund on loan from Bayern Munich in 2008,  has an option to extend his deal at Signal Iduna Park, which expires at the end of next season.
