Arsenal To Make A Move For Robert Lewandowski
Arsenal are preparing a £50 million move for Robert Lewandowski, according to The Mirror.
As per the report, Arsenal are set to make a £50 million offer for Lewandowski if the star striker decides to leave Bayern Munich this summer.
The Poland international is interested in a move to the Premier League, and was seen mentioning last week that he would like to taste life in England in the future.
But the former Dortmund man has three more years left on his current contract, and such a long duration would enable Bayern to put a hefty price tag on their number 9 if he does decide to leave the Bavarian club any time soon.
A huge fee may not stop Arsene Wenger from signing Lewandowski, however, as the French manager would want to whatever it takes to get the dissatisfied and protesting Arsenal fans back on his side and mount a genuine challenge for the league title – something Lewandowski could easily help them achieve.
And with Arsenal having £150m to spend in the summer thanks to their new TV money, the aforementioned move might very well be on the cards.
