Ibrahimovic Deal To Be Completed This Week?

Manchester United are on the brink of signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic this week, according to trusted sources.

Gianluca Di Marzio has suggested that Ibrahimovic will travel to England on July 1st and pen a deal that would see him play in the Premier League next season.

Ibrahimovic, 34, chose not to renew his PSG contract, which is set to end on June 30. According to reports, he was to sign for the Red Devils before heading out to the Euros with Sweden, but both parties could not reach an agreement. Zlatan therefore moved on to France for the tournament, and negotiations were placed on hold as the striker looked to focus on his international commitments.

This deal could not happen sooner for Manchester United fans, who have been waiting for an announcement regarding Ibrahimovic for the last couple of weeks. It could be an exciting week for them, as the deals for both Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be announced together.

There is no doubt that despite his age, Zlatan Ibrahimovic brings another level to Manchester United and the Premier League as a whole, as he comes off from a 50-goal season for PSG, and looks to take Manchester United back into the Champions League.
