Manchester United are all set to get the Pogba transfer done by this weekend, according to The Sun.
Paul Pogba has been linked with a sensational return to his boyhood club Manchester United all summer. But if The Sun‘s latest report is to be believed, the transfer will be completed by the upcoming weekend!
The France international – who is currently on a vacation in the United States to rest as well as recover from the defeat he faced in the Euro 2016 final at the hands of Portugal – will sign his Manchester United contract upon returning from his holidays.
The 23-year-old will be signing his name on a 5-year contract, which will earn him a salary worth £202,000 per week.
And as all the surrounding reports have been suggesting for weeks, the transfer will indeed be a world transfer record-breaking one.
The basic transfer fee the Red Devils will be paying to bring their youth academy graduate back to Old Trafford will be somewhere around £85 million.
However, taking the add-ons, bonuses, and agent Mino Raiola’s fees into consideration, the net amount Manchester United will be spending in the entire Pogba deal will be north of £105 million – thereby surpassing the £86 million Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale back in 2013.
The report further adds that the Frenchman could arrive in Manchester as soon as the upcoming Tuesday, in order to complete his medical examination.
