Brazilian starlet Gabriel Jesus is among the most sought after youngsters by multiple major European clubs. The player’s agent recently revealed that his camp is in talks with Manchester City.

Gabriel Jesus, who plays for Brazilian club Palmeiras, was voted the best newcomer of the 2015 Brazilian league. Due to his playing style, he has been called the next Neymar by the Brazilian media.

His agent recently revealed that he is close to a move to Manchester City.

“Is it done with Manchester City?” Cristiano Simoes, Gabriel’s agent, said in an interview with Calciomercato.com (via Football Italia).

“I can say that we’re defining some contractual issues, we’re working on that.

“Could he go to Inter? We’re very advanced with Manchester City. We’ll see.”

According to recent reports, the Brazilian has also been linked with Manchester City’s same city rivals, Manchester United. According to some reports, the Red Devils even submitted a bid to Palmeiras.

Gabriel Jesus is currently in Brazil, preparing for the upcoming Rio Olympics. He couldn’t feature in the recently concluded Copa America due to visa issues. He is expected to star for Brazil in the Olympics, and hopefully win their first Olympic gold medal in football.
