After a summer full of speculation, the Paul Pogba to Manchester United move finally looks to be close to completion. The Frenchman, who is currently enjoying his holidays in Miami, is set to meet his agent Mino Raiola to discuss the move.

Paul Pogba joined Manchester United from French club Le Havre as a teenager. He progressed through the ranks at United, before leaving for free due to a lack of game time.

The 23-year-old midfielder is now set to return to the English giants, for a world record fee of €120m. His reported transfer fee exceeds the one paid by Real Madrid to sign Welsh winger Gareth Bale from Tottenham in the summer of 2013.

Manchester United manager José Mourinho is desperate to sign Pogba, and according to media outlet France Football, his agent Mino Raiola has flown to Miami to talk to him about the transfer.

The youngster has long been tipped for a return to United, but is said to prefer joining up with fellow Frenchman  Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.

However, Real president Florentino Perez isn’t a great fan of Pogba. And as Perez is in charge of transfer dealings and not Zidane, it looks like the reigning European Champions will miss out on the services of the Juventus midfielder.

Pogba was a player with great potential when he signed for Manchester United, and has gone on to develop as one of the best young players in the world. At the age of 23, he can only keep improving.

Since joining Juventus, Pogba has managed to win four straight league titles, and featured in the 2015 Champions League final loss at the hands of Barcelona.

With this meeting happening, we can finally witness an end to this drawn out transfer saga.
