Manchester United are interested in bringing their former midfielder back to Old Trafford, and will stop at no cost in their pursuit. Reports from Italy claim that United have already made two bids for the French powerhouse, both of which have been rejected.

United’s latest bid was worth a record-breaking €120 million, but the Italian Champions rejected the offer as they were told that Mino Raiola’s agent fees would have to come out of the transfer fee.

With the rumor mill still on-going, almost every new development will cause speculation over the Frenchman’s future. The latest development in this transfer saga comes in the form of a video posted on social media.

Adidas football posted a GIF on their twitter account. The short video shows Paul Pogba reading a newspaper with the words “blah blah” covering the entire page. After reading the words, the camera turns to Pogba, who voices: “Don’t believe everything you read in the papers.”

To top it off, the GIF had the caption: “Ignore the blah, blah, blah. #FirstNeverFollows.”

The post to social media has sparked a frenzy of rumors about Pogba’s future. Zinedine Zidane recently mentioned that his club is working on bringing the midfielder to Real Madrid, with a deal still in the pipelines.

There is not much to take from the post, as Adidas sponsor both Real Madrid and Manchester United. However, it is a clear message that the papers are not telling the true story, or it could just be a publicity stunt by the German sportswear company.

It is only a matter of time before this whole story is uncovered, but for now, the speculation continues.
