Sir Alex Ferguson Gives Go-Ahead For Pogba Move
Legendary Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, is said to have told Jose Mourinho that he should re-sign Paul Pogba, reports The Daily Mail.
Sir Alex Ferguson supposedly had dinner with the new Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho, in the Manchester United training grounds. The Scot also intermingled with the current Manchester United squad – something he hasn’t done in three years.
Jose Mourinho is looking to form a relationship with Sir Alex, as he hopes he can learn from the Scot. The news report also states that Sir Alex told Mourinho to go ahead in his pursuit for the Pogba.
Paul Pogba left Manchester United four years ago, when he wasn’t allowed a proper chance in Manchester United’s first team squad. It is also believed that the Frenchman tried to negotiate a new contract with the Red Devils, but Ferguson was not keen on offering the youngster more money.

Sir Alex Ferguson is also thought to have had a fallout with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, which initiated the then 19-year-old’s departure.
Pogba has been on Manchester United’s radar for the past 4 weeks, with the Red Devils already having a world record bid rejected by Juventus. According to reports, Manchester United made a €120 million bid for the Juve man. But, it was rejected by the Italian Champions, as they were not ready to pay Pogba’s agent his €20 million fee.
Reports now claim that Manchester United and Juventus have agreed on terms, and are only awaiting for the player to undergo a medical examination.
Pogba is currently in Los Angeles, where he is believed to be awaiting the medical to complete his move to Manchester United.
Manchester United have agreed to purchase the 23-year-old for £112 million, with £92 million going to Pogba’s current club, and the rest being Raiola’s agent fee.
