One of the most reliable new reporters available, Gianluca Di Marzio, has just spoken out on the Pogba transfer saga.

The whole Paul Pogba transfer has been going suspiciously quiet over the past few days, but this could be because both clubs are hard at work trying to get the deal done as soon as possible.

Gianluca Di Marzio, a reliable Italian reporter, has just given a crucial update on the whole situation. He has claimed that the deal is being held up by a few, small, but important details.

It is believed that due to the large amount of money being transferred, the lawyers involved have to go through all the documentation twice to ensure it is error free.

Pogba’s return to Old Trafford will cost Mourinho around €135 million, with Raiola receiving €25 million as Pogba’s agent. This means that Pogba will become the most expensive footballer in history – passing Gareth Bale’s current transfer record of €100 million.

The 23-year-old, who is currently on holiday in the United States, is reportedly going to fly directly to Manchester in order to sign the paperwork and finalize the move. Reports claim that Pogba will earn in excess of €250,000-a-week – a figure close to Wayne Rooney’s wage.

Juventus have reportedly given Pogba’s shirt number to Dybala, meaning that they are already planning a future without the Frenchman. The Italians have also signed Gonzalo Higuain for a massive £75 million, and it is believed that they are going to use the funds received from Pogba’s sale to pay for the Argentine’s switch.

Pogba left Manchester United in 2012, the reason being that he wasn’t given a fair chance in Sir Alex’s first team. However, the club claims that Pogba was released as he was demanding a very large wage package.
